What is it about 3 day weekends? It's only one extra day off but it's like I'm getting away with something I shouldn't be doing... and I really don't feel guilty at all (haha). It's SO refreshing. I had my weekend and still one more day to kick back and just do what I want.
Today will probably include some housekeeping, but that's okay with me. I am loving life in our new home. It's such a relief to have your own space and be able to do what you want with it whenever you feel like. We finally started hanging decorations up on the walls this weekend. Not Christmas decorations, haha, I mean every day pictures and prints. Still need to put up our wedding pictures. The reason we are not really doing Christmas decorations this year is mostly because of Whiskey (we don't trust her around a Christmas tree). Just seems like such a mess.
We ARE excited for Christmas, though. I have pretty much everyone crossed off my list, just need to make some cookies and treats for the special people who are getting those this year. I can't believe Christmas Eve is only 10 days away! I'll blink and it will be over :-/ That's okay, though. Life is good :-)
Oh! Blondie was spayed yesterday. She's doing fine so far but I felt horrible keeping food and water from her when I brought her home. I was told she would be super drugged up when I picked her up, but I think that wore off. She was just very queasy last night, and today she's VERY moody. Can't wait until she gets back to normal.

Home Sweet Home!
I can't believe it, we have finally moved into our new home!! We have been here for just a couple of weeks so far and we're absolutely loving it. I expected that it was going to take some time for us to settle in, however I think it's going to take several more weeks for me to feel really comfortable with where everything is and where I want to put things. I just can't wait until everything has a home and I can actually start decorating with our wedding pictures, pet pictures, family pictures, etc. I guess I'll have plenty of time to do that, though, since we won't be moving again for a very long time. I just love it here, because we've always lived in a one bedroom apartment but now we have four bedrooms to decorate! One of the rooms is of course our bedroom, one room is just for my clothes and vanity setup, another is set up for the cats to use temporarily, and the last room is completely empty and ready to turn into a guest bedroom. So much to do!! It's going to be a lot of fun, though, doing everything little by little until we get our house just the way we like it :-) Loving life right now!!

Transition...
This has been one eventful year, I'll tell you that. Moved 5 hours away, got married, finally got a new job, and will be moving into a house soon! In a way it feels like my life is on fast-forward, but at this moment it's an annoying commercial break. Ha ha, in other words we are staying with the in-laws right now and absolutely can't wait to move into our new home! We were just notified today that the bank we're purchasing the house from has chosen a title company! So that means we are making progress, at least. The light IS at the end of the tunnel here :-)
In my life, whenever I come across a stressful situation I like to remind myself of two things: 1) Time is going to keep right on ticking away (i.e. "this too shall pass"), and 2) Big goals are important, but the little goals along the way are what gets you there. For example, I start my first day of my job out of training tomorrow, and I am literally going to not think about it as a whole day. I am going to just tell myself to make it through until my first break, then make it through until lunch, then 2nd break, then I'll be on the home stretch and that dreaded first day will be over. Like the new house, we had to find the realtor, find the house we wanted, make the offer, sign a counter-offer, arrange for inspections, etc.. but I know that each step of this process will get us there eventually. Just gotta keep pushing through. It's very important to me to not let huge obstacles get in my way, to just get through them task by task.

New Beginnings..
OK there has been so much going on lately! Started my new job on Monday, Blondie had her puppies on Tuesday, Mom and her friend came to visit on Friday, and my birthday was Saturday!! I guess I will just write about each event in order :-)
I LOVE my new job! There are 16 trainees total and we are all getting along pretty well. I just love the office atmosphere... always something going on... theme days, luncheons, health fairs! The culture there is so much fun and they are really focused on supporting their employees in every way. I am sososo happy. This kind of job is just what I needed. :-)
So on the second day of my new job, Blondie had her puppies! She went into labor around 4 AM I think, and she starting delivering at 5:30 AM. She has 4 little pups now: two black females with docked tails, one brown female with a normal tail, and one brown male with a docked tail. They are so sweet and Blondie is the best mama! We are thinking of keeping the little boy, and trying to think of names right now so if you have any ideas please let me know!
So yesterday was my birthday, and my mom and her bud came up Friday night to see me :-) I had the best birthday! Travis surprised me with the collector's edition of LOST... omg every episode! I can't wait to watch them all again :-) And after my mom, her friend, and I spent a little time shopping, we had my birthday dinner which consisted of: chicken salad sandwiches on croissants, sweet peppers filled with jalapeño artichoke dip, cilantro lime shrimp, pineapple spears, sautéed mushrooms, and red velvet cake for dessert!
Today I went shopping at Target for some new work stuff, and I got: gray high-heeled boots, a brown v-neck tank, and a white flowy cardigan (had to copy the one michele1218 just got at Target, except hers is black).
Crazy Crazy week!!!

First Day Down
Just got home from my first day at work, and I am pleasantly surprised! There were a few boring parts, but overall it was really kick-back and fun at times. We just had to sit and listen to presentations, participate in a few icebreaker games, and walk the tour of the building. One really nice thing was the lunch they provided for us! So, an awesome first day!
My weekend was awesome as well... went up on Friday to see my mom, uncle, and cousins. Saturday we went to SF with my two best friends and busted a mission to decide where to eat and how to get back to the car without a ticket. Then we had dessert in town... good times. It was nice to be able to finally see MY friends again.
I finally got my Urban Decay Naked Palette! I love it... I seriously opened it up to use it the first time and didn't know where to start! Obviously they're all nude shades so I will experiment with them all this week :-) Can't wait to experiment with outfits, too... and my birthday is coming up!!

Got a Job!!!
Exciting news..... well obviously you can tell by the title of this post, but I have a job! Woo-hoo! I have been sitting around moping about it for months and now I only have 4 days left until my first day :-) I am so stoked to start working!! I don't know too much about it yet, but I will definitely keep you up to date on how I like it, etc.
Ok, second order of business... I am going to go visit family and friends this weekend! Trav and I are leaving on Friday night to go see my mom, and then sometime Saturday we are going on a double date to SF with my two besties! We are thinking of trying out an Ethiopian restaurant, so I'll have to report on that as well. I'm just really glad to get away, it'll be my last little trip before I start work. I will have weekends off while I'm in training, but I have to have one last get-away.
STILL don't have the Naked palette. I'm waiting for the local Macy's to get it in still. Luckily, it's permanent so I will get it eventually. Just stinks that I thought I'd get it the first week of August and I still don't have it.
OMG! Also, Blondie is due to have puppies in a week or so... there's nothing else I want to say about that other than I'm terrified I won't be here when she goes into delivery :-/ Oh... and besides the fact that I'm keeping one :-)
Annndddd... my birthday is coming up! Yay. I need to go shopping for work clothes. Preferably F21... it's only half an hour away!! For some reason, for all this time I've been here, I thought it was going to be a mission to get there. Good thing though since I don't really have money right now to buy a new wardrobe. YAY for new jobs, though!! All in good time..

Already August!?
Can't believe it's already August first! That means my birthday is in 28 days! I'm so excited :-)
One thing that's got me down is my job search, though. I've had 5 interviews with 3 different companies (not counting phone interviews) since I started looking after the wedding. The bad part is that's actually pretty good. There's one company I realllly really want to work for, their benefits are just awesome! So please pray that I get it. Just sent out a thank you letter today for the group interview I did with them last Monday. I just want a job so I can actually feel busy and feel like there's some meaning in my day to day life. Plus we want to get a house soon. I feel like we're just stuck here right now and it stinks :-/
Anyway, on a lighter note, now that it is the first week of August I am expecting a call from Macy's letting me know when the new Urban Decay Naked Palette will be in! It's my birthday present to myself, lol. I'm so excited to get it because it's got well over $200 worth of eyeshadows, liner, and primer potion for only $44. The SA at Macy's told me they are only getting 100 units in this week so as soon as they call me I am jetting down there!

Married!
I can't believe I have been married for three weeks now! I have to say that it's actually about the same as before... the only real change is the piece of paper and getting to call each other "husband" and "wife." And life down here with his parents is... busy. I really feel bad that I haven't posted anything for so long :-(
Speaking of being busy, Travis' mom and I are leaving today to visit my mom! It'll be the first time I've seen my mom and my grandma since we stopped at her house briefly on our honeymoon (we decided to make Sunday through Wednesday after the wedding a long trip down the coast and we needed to do laundry and say goodbye to my grandpa before he went home). We should get there sometime tonight, sit around with some munchies and some drinks and have girl time, and then go hopping with grandma tomorrow! I'm especially looking forward to visiting Bath and Body Works because their Semi Annual Sale just started today. I think I want to buy some more Butterfly Flower lotion or shower gel, since I used up my entire bottle last summer. It's a great floral/subtle-y fruity scent. It sort of smells like honeysuckle mixed with bananas and coconut, so of course I love it!
While us girls are in the bay, Travis and Todd have a camping/fishing trip planned for this weekend. Then the four of us (me, Trav, Todd, and Laurie) will be leaving on the 25th for a 4 day camping trip, sort of a birthday celebration for Travis and Todd since they both have birthdays coming up. I really can't wait for the big trip! I hope we go somewhere near the water :-)

Getting Ready...
To move, that is! We have already started packing, have most of the small stuff taken care of, and we load it all into the truck on Monday. Doing it all little by little over the past couple of weeks has made things seem easier, but I'm still not looking forward to the deep-cleaning once everything is out. My top three challenges are going to be cleaning out the oven (found out the self-cleaning function doesn't work on ours), cleaning the blinds, and detailing the bathroom. Ugh.
I'm just trying to keep my focus on Wednesday, because then we'll be down there and getting settled in and we'll never have to worry about cleaning this apartment again! I will really miss this place, it is one of the most beautiful apartments I have lived in. Definitely will miss our little garden area out back and the separate garage that's been so nice for getting the camping stuff, etc. out of our main living space.
Another more short-term thing I am looking forward to is something that should be coming in the mail tomorrow! I ordered the Urban Decay Ammo Palette from Sephora--last Wednesday night--and I can't wait for it to get in. I can't believe it's actually taken over a week for me to get a Sephora order... but it's the first time I've ordered while living here, so maybe that's just normal. All I can really hope for is that it comes on or before Monday, or else I might not get it! How sad. Hopefully it does come tomorrow, because then I can play with it for a few and then maybe do my own review on it!

A Quick One!
I just wanted to do a real quick blog before Travis gets home from work. We gave our 30 days notice to our landlords today, although we are really moving out in 2 weeks. Yesterday I went to Target to get a bunch of cleaning supplies, so hopefully I don't have to put too much more elbow grease into cleaning than usual. I know I'll be sore from helping Travis move stuff into the big truck. I also got these (yay!):
Pretty gold flip flops
... I saw them in this YouTube video :-)
...and some sunglasses that are not on the Target website, and it's 10:30 right now so I won't take a picture of them (maybe later).
So, I just wanted to share those couple of things :-) Good night!

Moving & Makeup
Just found out we are moving at the end of this month! Which means it is time to start packing, packing, packing. I seriously hate moving. When we get down there, we are going to be staying in Travis' parents' trailer until we can find our own place to move into. We aren't going to be able to look at places beforehand so this is a way we can take our time looking and also save up for the deposit. On the other hand, that means we are going to have very limited living space!
One of the first things I did in preparation for our new living arrangements is to consolidate my makeup collection a little. Whatever I don't think I'll be using this summer will go into storage, and my absolute must-haves are going into a 3-drawer see-thru rubbermaid/sterilite
unit. I bought mine a while ago from Target, during the back-to-college promotion. I think it was around $10 or so.
The way I pared down my stash was by devoting the top drawer to makeup, the middle drawer to body care/perfume, and the bottom drawer to hair styling tools and products. I can't believe I narrowed down all of my products so much! It was especially hard to decide which Bath and Body Works products I wanted to keep out for the summer. I decided I'll be wearing plenty of Exotic Coconut! My choice perfumes for this summer are DKNY Be Delicious (of course), Britney Spears' Fantasy, Circus Fantasy, and Curious.
I hope I can find the perfect spot for my little stash! Next thing we need to figure out is where to put all of our clothes :-/

Easter!
This has got to be one of the most boring Easters ever. It's raining outside, and I'm cold. Travis had to close tonight at work. I'm bored, and Blondie wants to go outside every 5 minutes but once she gets outside, she remembers that she hates the rain and runs back in without producing, lol.
Anyway, I guess I'll just pretend it's another Sunday.
I've really been wanting to go for a little shopping trip lately. Ever since we got back from Travis' parents' house I've been feeling kinda cooped up in here. I want to find a new dress for either the rehearsal dinner or maybe the day after the wedding. Other than that I just want to see new things, smell new smells, and be around other people!
Travis' "future district manager" never called on Friday, so we still don't know when we're moving. Blahhh

March Favorites!
First of all, guess what I can say now that it's April 1st?
I'm getting married next month!
Oh my gosh. I said it to Travis earlier and we were both just wide-eyed, lol. I can't believe it's getting so close! And I found out yesterday that my dad's side of the family is all coming to the wedding. Yay!
Ok, on to what I originally wanted to post about. I have seen a few people talk about their monthly favorites, which basically means they list everything they used a lot during the previous month on the first of the current month. I thought it sounded like fun, and I have a number of products I have been using quite a lot lately so I decided it would be fun to do March favorites. So, in no particular order:
Malibu Tan Hemp Golden Glow Skin Firming Bronzing Moisturizer:
I have been using this for a couple of years now during the warmer weather so I don't appear too pasty. Now that spring is here, it has made its 2010 debut! This is a gradual tanner, so it takes a couple of days to build up, but this is the most natural looking, best smelling gradual tanner I have tried. Another great thing about it is that it's only around $6 at WalMart for 18 oz. I am on my 4th or 5th bottle, which is insane for me! I definitely love this stuff.
Revlon ColorStay Makeup for Combination/Oily Skin:
My current shade is 200 Nude. I have been using this soo much! I took it with me to Travis' parents and used it every single day. It did not break me out and I was definitely less oily than with previous foundations I have tried. It also has really good coverage, and funny thing is: you can use less product AND get heavier coverage if you use a flat top blush brush to stipple it on and then buff in with circular motions. I set with the ColorStay powder in the compact and then add my bronzer and blush.
Milani Powder Mosaics #06 Sunset Spice:
Current favorite bronzer... I just swirl my brush around in it, use a little heavier to contour under my cheekbones and then a lighter hand to warm up the rest of my face. This is a completely matte bronzer. I got mine back when CVS was having their 50-75% sale.
L'Oreal Go 360 Clean Deep Cream Cleanser:
I decided to use this the week we were gone because I figured I wouldn't be able to wash my face according to my usual routine. It worked great! I really didn't notice any breakouts, so the salicylic acid in it really did its job. And I looove how the little scrublet feels on my face. It's so tingly!
And some other honorable mentions:
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk
MAC Select Cover-Up
Got2B Guardian Angel Heat Protect 'N Blow Dry
Essence of Beauty Brow/Lid Kit

A Week Away From Home!
I had such a good time this past week at Trav's parents' house. We left on Wednesday afternoon after he got off from work, and we finally got there around 9pm.
Thursday was kind of Wyatt's day. At 1:30 we all went down to his school to see him get his student of the month award. Yay! Then Laurie and I went downtown to check out a store called a la mode, where they have really cute shoes and purses. I think I'd like to get a purse there someday, or maybe some jewelry. So cute! Travis skipped on the shopping and waited for us at The Stagg, lol. Next, we all went back to the house after we picked Wyatt up from school. Travis and I then left to go to the store and pick up stuff for our jambalaya (tdf!). While Travis was cooking, Laurie and I took Wyatt to a carnival at his future middle school. He won a bottle of soda from the ring toss, a handful of candy from other various games, and we made sure to grab some cotton candy before we left. Wyatt was like, "I love when I get an award!" LOL
On Friday... Travis had a meeting with his future district manager(... turns out we should be moving soon!!), and then we met up with Cory at Mens Wearhouse so he could get fitted for his tux. Then we all went downtown (Cory, Todd, Laurie, Wyatt, Trav and I) to Brewbaker's for lunch. The food was pretty good, and we enjoyed the sampler there. Brewbakers is cool because they brew their own beer and sodas, and they have pretty good food for cheap. Once we got home, we just relaxed with the fam for a while. Tacos for dinner! Super fun.
Saturday was insane... Todd, Laurie, Trav, and I all went to Six Flags Magic Mountain. Of course since it was a Saturday, we waited around more than anything else. Rode three rides and then it was time for a rather crappy burger at the Moose Burger Lodge (theme park food usually just sucks I guess). Then... Todd was feeling really sick and decided he wanted to just go rest in the car :-( ... so the rest of us rode three more rides (which took forever!) and went home. I do have to say though that my favorites were Goliath, Tatsu, and X2! The x2 was just unlike any other roller coaster I've ever ridden in my life! So worth the wait.
Sunday was girls' day! Kim, Laurie, and I went shopping for Kim's outfit for the wedding. It was so easy, she chose the second dress she tried on! It was a really pretty green color, and we found a beautiful wrap and shoes to go with it. Then we found someone to help us choose a shirt and tie so that Frank could match :-) Once we got back from shopping, we had to pick Todd up from the hospital (turns out he possibly had a kidney stone! poor guy). We went to CVS to get his prescription and such. ...later on, we had some Irish Car Bombs. Wow.
Let's see... Monday: didn't get out of bed til around 1:30 or later. Miserable. lol. Didn't do much that day because I was feeling so gross.
And Tuesday we came home!

Leaving tomorrow!
I am so excited to leave tomorrow! Finally Travis and I get to go do something fun! The last time we got away for the weekend was our Ft. Bragg trip. That means I won't be writing for a while, but I will try to cover everything when I get back.
Today I went to pick up or traditional road trip refreshments: Monsters for Travis, Frappuccinos for me, and snacks! It's always a long drive so we need the caffeine to keep us going.
I also picked up some makeup at CVS, all of which I got great deals on. I purchased a Cover Girl lip stain in Cinnamon Smile, a Wetslicks gloss in Guava, a Revlon gloss in Infinite Rose, Revlon Double Twist Waterproof mascara (*scary-@ss wand*!!! I don't know how long I'll be able to use that...) and a HIP dual eyeshadow in Playful. Score for me!

Manic Monday
Ok, I lied. My Mondays are actually pretty chill since I don't have a job right now. This morning I basically slept in, got ready, and went out to go get some errands taken care of.
First I went down to the post office to mail off a package for my best bud. A couple was there in front of me with a ton of APO/FPO boxes... the man turned to me and asked if I would be willing to give the name and address of my soldier so that they could also send him a package! I thought that was so sweet. They are going to email me soon, I guess there is also a support group for the people at home.
After that, I went to the recycling center. We have been collecting cans for months now, and today I finally got in the mood to go take them down... we got $28! Yay! Pays for one of our Magic Mountain tickets lol!
Hmm what else? OH Dancing with the Stars tonight. So curious to see what kind of craptastic stunt Kate Gosselin pulls lol.

Shoeeessss!

I just wanted to tell you guys about my wedding shoes! I just got them in yesterday and they are awesome... Nontraditional, but they are so comfortable and I cannot wait to slip these on under my dress knowing that I will be confident walking down the aisle without totally leaning on my Papa. LOL
I got a great deal on them last week from the Victoria's Secret website. They are the Colin Stuart Glitter Wedge Thongs, and they are still on special for 2/$25. Plus I found a free shipping code on some website I can't remember the name of... Anyway, I got the white ones to wear for my wedding (for some reason when I ordered I thought they had silver glitter... it kinda looks like it in the picture, but once I opened them up they clearly have white glitter! It's going to look even better with my dress), and then the silver ones to practice walking in, and I'll probably bring them along too. The wedge is 3.5 inches, by the way.
What's great about these shoes is that the bottom part is really hard and sturdy foam, but the top part where your foot rests is almost like a cushion... they are *so* comfortable! I am really impressed with the quality of these sandals. I can't wait to wear them!!!

40 Beauty Questions
Just thought I would do this for fun this morning! I'm freezing right now... brr
SKINCARE -
How many times do you wash your face daily?
Usually just at night time to remove my makeup. I've found that when i wash twice a day, especially with a cleanser that contains salicylic acid, my face gets sooo dry. So I just rinse my natural oils off with plain water during my shower in the morning.
What skin type do you have? (dry, oily, combo)
Combination... kinda oily t-zone, therefore I get breakouts, but also very dry cheeks.
What is your current facial wash?
Avon Solutions Maximum Moisture AM/PM
Do you exfoliate?
Yes, about twice a week or whenever I feel I need to.
What brand do you use?
CVS brand apricot scrub
What moisturizer do you use?
Avon Solutions Maximum Moisture at night, Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Defense on breakout areas, and Aveeno Positively Radiant spf 15 for daytime
Do you have freckles?
Yes! But honestly I hardly notice them on my face, they really don't bother me,
Do you use eye cream?
I don't use actual eye cream, although I probably should start. I just use my thickest moisturizer under my eyes after I wash my face and before I go to bed.
Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
Yes! It's not terrible but I usually have a couple of blemishes somewhere on my face, no matter what I do.
Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?
Yes, but it was very irritating. Even the oily parts of my face turned red and started flaking! It was way too strong for my skin. I probably shouldn't have used it, as I just had a few pimples, not full-out acne.
MAKE-UP
What foundation do you use?
Right now I switch between Neutrogena Healthy Skin in Buff, Revlon Colorstay in Nude, and Bare Escentuals in Fairly Light. I would love to try Make Up ForEver HD, but it's reallly expensive for foundation. I'd also like to try some MAC foundations.
How about concealer?
MAC Select Cover-Up in NW20
Do you know your undertone color?
I feel like my skin tone is more warm, since I have trouble with a lot of foundations looking too yellow on me, but I really have no clue!
What do you think of fake eyelashes?
I really like them, they just make your eyes pop so beautifully. They are a little tricky to apply, though-- I hope I can get it right so that I might be able to wear them for the wedding.
Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?
I don't think you really have to, as long as your mascara is still working for you. I would say you shouldn't keep using it after 6 months though. I usually have two mascaras open at a time, though, so I feel like I shouldn't throw them out at 3 months.
What brand of mascara do you use?
I don't know if I'm in love with them, but currently I'm using Rimmel Lash Maxxx and Avon Wash-off Waterproof. I also sometimes layer the Avon over the Rimmel if I want darker lashes. The next mascara I want to try is L'Oreal Voluminous.
Sephora or MAC?
I don't really think you can choose between the two. Sephora has so many different brands and products, and MAC is only one brand, but they have a lot of cool products, too. Apples and Oranges.
Do you have a MAC Pro-card?
No
What makeup tools do you use in make up application?
Brushes, q-tips, and kleenex
Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?
Right now I am using NYX eyeshadow base, and honestly I can't tell if there is a difference! I wanted to try Urban Decay Primer Potion but I decided to try something less expensive before shelling out the $18 or so.
For the face?
I've tried Smashbox Photo Finish and Laura Geller Spackle... but I don't see much of a difference in the smoothness or lasting power of my makeup with either of them on.
What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)?
I really love the Bare Escentuals shadows... I used up an entire pot of City Lights, and another current favorite is Cocoa Diamond, it's a really pretty brown with barely any shimmer. If you know BE shadows, you know they are *super* shimmery sometimes lol
Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
I use pencil mostly, I'm still practicing with the liquid liner on my lid... I'm getting better, though!
How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?
Not too often...
What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?
Ok, like I said most of my eyeshadow collection is BE, so they are allll loose and in "pigment" form. They are really messy unless you are careful with them. I've gotten used to it for the most part, though... but sometimes I do end up with a colorful sink from tapping all the excess shadow from my brushes.
Do you use mineral makeup?
Yes.
What is your favorite lipstick?
I really don't wear any! I would like to, but I feel that glosses are holding me over quite well for now.
How about lipgloss?
I love the Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush glosses. They are pretty sticky but they all smell really good. I also like the BE glosses... they're not sticky at all and they have some really pretty shades.
What is your favorite blush to use?
I wouldn't say it's my all-time favorite, but for some reason it stays in my daily makeup container: BE Frisky
Do you buy your makeup on ebay?
No.
Do you like drugstore makeup?
Yes! Some products are actually great quality, sometimes even better than more expensive stuff. Especially mascara.
Do you go to CCO's? (cosmetic company outlets)
I've been to at least one or two, but I haven't purchased anything there.
Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?
It would be really fun, I just haven't had the opportunity.
Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
I can be... but luckily I only dropped a BE shadow once. COMPLETE MESS!
Name a makeup crime that you hate?
Overplucked eyebrows! eww. And bright blue eyeshadow.
Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick, eyeshadow) or neutral ones?
Neutral for day, although a small pop of color can be a nice change. But full on bright colors are best saved for the nightclub or... Halloween I guess lol.
Which celebrity always has great make up?
Hmm... I'm not sure? I don't actively check out celebrity makeup.
If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item, what would you use?
At least some tinted moisturizer or concealer for blemishes.
Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
I could... not that I would enjoy it.
Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?
I think I look ok without, but I feel best when I put a little effort into how I look.
In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?
I don't think there is one!
What do you think of Makeup??
I like it! It's fun to experiment with it and it can really be uplifting at times. :-)

1st post!
There hasn't been much going on lately until now! I am getting so excited for the wedding... there's only 63 days left or something crazy like that!!!
Obviously this is my first blog post so i will explain what has been going on with the wedding planning recently. OK-- so we put down the deposit on the ceremony location that we chose, did all the paperwork and everything, and then it came back that we needed to have insurance for the venue. Seriously? Like someone is really going to walk off the cliff or something? Anyway, so my mom went in to the insurance office like 3! Yes 3 months ago to get our 1 day insurance and the lady put it off and put it off until FINALLY on Wednesday my mom sat in her office and waited for her to finish the documents. And today... I received the cash receipt and the letter stating that all of our paperwork is complete!! Yay!
So, I don't have much more wedding stuff to do for about a month, when I have to call our officiant and photographer to finalize the plans.
Other than wedding stuff, Travis finally got a meeting with his *cross your fingers* future district manager! We are driving down there mid-week next week so he can meet with her on Friday. Then on Saturday we are going to Magic Mountain! I am so excited, it will be my very first time there. I'm sure Travis, Todd, and Laurie will give me the grand tour. And Sunday is shopping with my future mother in law for her wedding outfit! Can you tell I'm excited for this week? Life has been boring around here lately. LOL I told my mom she has a more exciting social life than I do right now.
